The LBJ Presidential Library redesigned its permanent exhibit, and asked us to rebrand the Library to accentuate LBJ’s domestic achievements and promote its grand reopening. We designed: a new logo family; website and online store; the paper system; and print, broadcast and digital materials. Through the national publicity campaign, we secured media coverage of the reopening in The New York Times, USA Today, Southwest Spirit, Texas Monthly, and with Austin media – we even got a category dedicated to the LBJ Presidential Library on Jeopardy!.
Additionally, we launched an advertising campaign highlighting President Johnson’s domestic accomplishments. We placed print ads in travel media, digital ads at the Austin airport, and light pole banners on Congress Avenue, and filmed a PSA with Matthew McConaughey.
